Personal information
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person in accordance with Article 4(1) German Data Protection Ordinance (DSGVO). For example, this includes information such as your name, your address, your email address, your telephone number or your IP address. Non-personal data is information which does not identify you, e.g. anonymous data and information.
Collection and processing of personal data
a) Log data / server log files
When accessing this website the following data are collected and stored in a log file:
- IP-address
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Browser type / browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Time of the server request
b) Data in the online contact form
If you use the online form to contact us, the following data will be collected and processed:
- Your company affiliation
- Your department
- Your name and surname
- Your email address
- If necessary, your telephone number
- And, if necessary, the content of your message/notification
c) Newsletter subscription data
If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter provided on the website, we as the provider require from you an email address and information to be able to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address and that you agree to receive the newsletter (so-called double opt-in procedure).
Primary interest as legal basis
The legal basis for the storage of log data is Article 6 para. 1 letter f) DSGVO The 7-day storage of this data is exclusively for the purpose of ensuring the proper operation of the server. This interest in the operational security of the server prevails over any interest in an immediate deletion of the above data. As a visitor to a website, you also have the same interest in being able to access and use a website that is as secure as possible.
Consent as legal basis
Without your consent - besides the automatically stored log data (see above) - we do not collect or store any personal data about you. Only you decide whether or not to provide personal data for the purpose of contacting or subscribing to the newsletter.
If you provide such data about yourself, then you hereby give your consent for storage and use in accordance with data protection law. The personal data which you provide will only be used to answer your inquiry or to provide you with the information or offers requested.

Cookies
Cookies are used to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Analysis by Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC („Google“), on the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our online offering within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by the user is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

We only use Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled. This means that the IP address of the user is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
The IP address transmitted by the user's browser is not merged with other Google data. Analysis by WiredMinds
We also use the counting pixel technology of wiredminds GmbH (www.wiredminds.de) to analyze visitor behavior on the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO).
Data is, if necessary, collected, processed and saved in this regard, and used to create usage profiles under a pseudonym. These usage profiles are completely anonymized wherever possible and relevant. Cookies may be used for this purpose. The collected data, which can also contain personal data, is transferred to wiredminds or collected directly by wiredminds. wiredminds may use information left behind by visits to the websites to create anonymous user profiles. Our website uses the Insight Tag of the social network LinkedIn. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO, i.e. a legitimate interest on our part. Our legitimate interest here lies in the above-mentioned purposes.

The data is encrypted and anonymized within seven days. The anonymized data is deleted within 180 days.
