S/4HANA Finance architecture: FICO modules combined
SAP FICO is a combination of the classic SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. It automatically integrates the functions and processes of both modules into a single solution with all the benefits of S/4HANA to offer even more possibilities.
A key innovation is the unified database structure, known as the Universal Journal. It brings together finance and cost accounting data in a single ledger, providing a comprehensive and consistent view of a company's finance and accounting processes.
